He responded, “I wish I did, and I wish it was that easy.” “I think I’ll know when I hear that phone ring,” said Maye. Patrick, however, asked Maye if he knew where he was heading, and he replied, “I think I have an idea.”Maye’s remarks begin at approximately 6:50 in the aforementioned video. Caleb Williams of USC is the generally regarded as the top pick, and Maye is tied with the Washington Commanders and the New England Patriots at Nos. 2 and 3.
