Blockbuster deal: Broncos officially quickly captured new signatures for double veteran duo as they plan NRL 2025 perfect revenge return….

With fresh contracts awarded to experienced duo Martin Taupau and Deloiuse Hoeter for the upcoming season, Brisbane’s top-30 team for 2025 is beginning to take shape. The Broncos are in the midst of a season assessment following their dismal 12th-place result this year, and the players have had their post-season interviews with head coach Kevin Walters.

After missing nine weeks of action due to injury, 35-year-old Taupau made his comeback against the Warriors in round 17, leading the Warriors in scoring in a 32-16 defeat while the Broncos were without their State of Origin players.

Warriors veteran Jazz Tevaga is joining Manly, Raiders hooker Zac Woolford is off to Huddersfield while Reagan Campbell-Gillard has been confirmed to be departing Parramatta but is yet to announce his new club with the Broncos, Cowboys and potentially the Tigers in the mix for his signature after a deal to join the Dragons fell through.

Titans forward Erin Clark is joining the Warriors while veteran prop Isaac Liu is also leading the club likely for a Super League swansong with the Leigh Leopards.

The Cowboys have re-signed Kiwi prop Griffin Neame after extending Maroons forward Reuben Cotter‘s deal as well.

Jack Bird has signed a two-year deal to join Wests Tigers but Corey Horsburgh won’t follow him after committing to remain at Canberra next season.

Former NSW representative Bird had initially exercised a contract option to stay with St George Illawarra next year before seeking permission to negotiate a longer deal elsewhere

He started the 2024 season as a pillar of the Dragons’ defense, but following his July ankle injury, he struggled to get regular playing time. Bird filled in at five-eighth at the end of the season, but for the rebuilt Tigers the next year, he could play center, second row, or lock.

But the 26-year-old has told the Raiders he is keen to remain at the club in 2025.
