GOOD NEWS: There he is! Braves has finally officially” welcome back one of the most influential” star of this season show” after series of injury madness…

The starting lineups for tonight’s Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals game are available. The Braves have received some positive news about injuries for once! It’s fantastic news as well, so let’s get straight to it without wasting any more time:

There he is: Jorge Soler is back in the lineup, he’s playing right field and he’s batting second. Soler has been missing from the lineup since suffering a strained left hamstring back on August 14. However, he did make a pair of pinch-hitting appearances during the Philadelphia series and I’d imagine that he would’ve played if the DH spot was an option. However, this offense can’t afford to have Marcell Ozuna either out of the lineup or playing defense so Soler stayed in a pinch-hitting capacity until he was healthy enough to play the outfield.

Either way, it’s definitely great news to have Soler back in the lineup. Meanwhile, Whit Merrifield’s days at the top of the lineup have come to an end and he’s back in the lower portion of the lineup. With that being said, he’s now batting sixth instead of ninth like he had been before, so he’s still getting a few more ABs than what he had been getting before. Hopefully this’ll translate into some offensive success for the Braves tonight since it’s been very frustrating to watch the Nationals take Atlanta’s lunch money over the course of this season.

Here’s Washington’s lineup:

The tweet sums it up: No Luis García Jr. and no CJ Abrams for Washington tonight — Nasim Nuñez is playing shortstop and batting ninth, while Ildemaro Vargas is playing second and hitting sixth. The top of Washington’s lineup is still not to be trifled with but having those two guys missing is likely going to complicate things for Washington tonight.
