BREAKING: Oakland athletics has officially” entertained another back pain” he thought that he will end it here” but faces brutal Exodus calls….

The Athletics saw the end of an era with the 2024 MLB Trade Deadline. Following eight years of major league hosting, Oakland transferred right-handed starter Paul Blackburn to the New York Mets. Blackburn is a native of the Bay Area. A wide range of emotions have been experienced by baseball players and teams this week. Blackburn sent a message with A’s fans on Instagram after the move, indicating that he feels the same way.

Blackburn wrote, “Thank you Oakland!” (via @paulyb_58). “To the organization, I express my gratitude for providing a young local child with the chance to fulfill his ambition. I shall always have a particular place in my heart and consider these last eight years to be my home.

“To the Oakland supporters, we appreciate your daily attendance and support. I made a lot of friends with Oakland’s devoted supporters. Throughout my stay here, you have brought me joy and support, which I will always treasure and never forget. The 30-year-old Blackburn went to Brentwood’s Heritage High School and is originally from the East Bay.

In 81 appearances, he tossed 404 innings for Oakland in his career. Blackburn had a 21-26 record at the end of his A’s career, 308 strikeouts, and a 4.83 ERA. Blackburn, who was an MLB All-Star in 2022, also sets a record this year with 22 1/3 spotless innings pitched to begin a season, more than any other pitcher in Oakland history. Hopefully, A’s supporters will take comfort in their final recollection of Blackburn.

In the A’s 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Friday in Anaheim, he made his final start for the team. After a 60-day spell in the intensive care unit, Blackburn made a remarkable recovery from a stress response involving his right foot’s fifth metatarsal.

Fans still find it difficult to understand transactions. Blackburn will be just another memory in Oakland, just as the A’s will be in two months.
