Almost A done deal: Ipswich Town set to wrap up second signing of the week after Omari Hutchinson was confirmed”contract talk ongoing as player himself love the move…

The Wales international has received a verbal offer from the Blues, but nothing official has been placed in writing as of yet, according to football.london. Rodon has been connected to the Blues all summer long. He is presently rumored to be away at a training camp in preparation for the next season. The 26-year-old spent time on loan at Cheltenham while advancing through the ranks at his native club, Swansea.

The ball-playing center half was signed by Spurs for £11 million in October 2020 on a five-year contract that expires the following summer as a result of his success with the Welsh club in the gg.

Since then, he has appeared in 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances for Tottenham. He has also been on loan at Rennes and Leeds for the previous season, when he started 49 games and made one substitute appearance as the Whites were eliminated from the play-offs. Leicester and Southampton are rumored to be interested in signing him permanently, but the Elland Road club is eager to do so.

Town approached Hull City earlier this week about Jacob Greaves, another central defender, but it seemed the two teams were very different in their assessment. The Tigers are rumored to be seeking for closer to £20 million, while the Blues are believed to have made an offer of about £10 million.

Jun 30, 23:14 – Fat Boy Tim added Neither Greaves nor Rodon, in my opinion, will win. We won’t hurt the team all that much, in my opinion. On the opening day, it will be intriguing to watch which two of our CB possibilities start against Liverpool! Whoa, it feels so amazing to say it aloud!
