Ronnie O’Sullivan once said It’s the best place out there…
After visiting Nanjing for the International Championship and crossing another place off his list, Ronnie O’Sullivan declared his love for China.
For the first time this season, the prestigious ranking event is being held in Jiangsu province’s capital. O’Sullivan is returning to action this week after missing the previous three tournaments on the schedule, having previously won two of them. The Rocket defeated He Guoqiang 6-2 on Monday after defeating Mink Nutcharut, the top-ranked woman in the world, in his qualifying match on Sunday.
That advances O’Sullivan to the round of 32, where he will take on Pang Junxu in an attempt to win the campaign’s first trophy.
The 48-year-old, who has a well-known fondness for China, will be taking time out of his schedule to enjoy the local sites even though he will be busy competing on the table. For me, it’s a new city. Ronnie O’Sullivan told the World Snooker Tour, “I was out there this morning, and we went to the lake – an amazing lake, beautiful.
I would just advise everyone to visit China. I’m in awe. They always take me somewhere that makes me say, Wow, in every city I visit.
You seem to be in an other universe. It’s an incredible location. Tomorrow night, I’m most likely going to visit the river, so that will be another adventure. However, the location I visited today was simply amazing. It’s the greatest site on earth, in my opinion. China is unlike any other location.
Nanjing has a rich history, and every city offers something very remarkable to offer. But pay attention—don’t think about taking your vacation somewhere else. Simply travel to China. Visit some of their most significant cities, where every dynasty once existed. Since you’ve been here, I’m willing to wager that you return home and tell others how amazing it is.
