What a tragedy: there he is! mark pope makes bold surprised claim in annual Blue-White Scrimmage” after a sensension key guard snubbed attendance despite fans close interaction with other big stars….

The Kentucky Wildcats were back in action on Friday night, as they had their annual Blue-White Scrimmage.

This time, it was held at the historic Memorial Coliseum compared to the past two years when it was held at Northern Kentucky and in Eastern Kentucky for helping to benefit the state of Kentucky.

It was a fun night for fans to interact with players and coaches, but many were wondering what happened to guard Kerr Kriisa and why he wasn’t playing in the scrimmage.

Now we know our answer: Mark Pope told the media that Kriisa got injured while conditioning, but he believes it isn’t a big deal.

We’re in contract negotiations, and he’s holding out. Nah, I’m kidding. We were doing heavy conditioning this week, and he tweaked his hamstring. It’s not even a strain, just a precaution,” Pope told the media.

With Kentucky playing in its first exhibition game on Wednesday, hopefully, Kriisa can be fully healthy to play in at least one of the two exhibition games before the season starts on November 4 against Wright State.

Of course, if there are any further updates to Kriisa’s health status, we will let you know right here at A Sea of Blue.
