The documentary, which is sponsored by Guinness, will look at each of the 2024/2025 Premier League sides and will explore their culture and matchday experience.

Steven Wells, owner of the Shamrock, said: “It is a real honour to represent part of Ipswich Town’s football culture in this new documentary.

“The football club brings in millions for the town and what they are achieving really champions the town centre and empowers local businesses like ours.

“We want to emulate that and learn from what the club is achieving to help bring the town forward.”

Mr Wells says that as the film crew left the director of the show commented: “You guys have the nicest customers going. They are so incredibly friendly.”

The pub owner added: “This is the greatest compliment we could ever get. It’s a massive advert for the town, our customers and for our football culture as a whole. It shows the type of people we are!”

The Blues drew 2-2 with Aston Villa in the game on Sunday afternoon, with new signing Liam Delap bagging twice to secure a point against a side in the Champions League.

This season marks Town’s first in the top flight since relegation at the end of the 2001/02 campaign.
