Official: Antonio Pierce raiders jumped into 21st NFL week 2 most dangerous” team in power ranking”as Carolina Panthers sinks in 32 spot” here is the full ranks’ from 1-32……

The media didn’t hold the Las Vegas Raiders in high regard heading into the 2024 campaign. These suspicions appeared to grow after the Raiders’ crushing Week 1 loss, and it appeared that the media had been correct to side with the opposition.

Then, despite being the largest underdogs in the league prior to Week 2, the Raiders stunned the football community by pulling off a huge upset against the Baltimore Ravens.

Their win seemed to give them some credit in some recent power rankings. In Bleacher Report’s post-Week 2 power rankings that were published on Tuesday, the Raiders jumped up to the 21st spot, after being ranked 26th the previous week. “Can the Raiders finally get some respect around here? In comeback fashion, down 10 points in the fourth quarter, they knocked off a perennial playoff contender who had extra days to prepare for the game,” said B/R’s Raiders analyst, Maurice Moton.

The Raiders showed little signs of offensive vitality for about two-and-half quarters, but rookie tight Brock Bowers carried the unit through periods of futility. Davante Adams helped out with clutch catches in the fourth quarter.

“Moton makes a good point, which puts the Raiders’ win in an even more impressive light. Baltimore played on Thursday the week before, giving them an extra half of a week the prepare.

And still, Las Vegas walked into their stadium, and overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win. Davante Adams and Brock Bowers led the offense, in a complete second half turnaround compared to the unit’s struggles during the first six quarters of the season.

21st still isn’t that impressive. However, it is improvement. With a favorable matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, there’s a chance Las Vegas ends up cracking the top 20 next week.
