BREAKING LIVE: Ipswich Town in total war front for £13 million raid” Omari Hutchinson records” set to be shattered on his arrival….

Ipswich Town has signed six new players this summer in the hopes that these additions will join the Tractor Boys and enable them to pull off an incredible comeback from relegation.

All signs point to the Suffolk team returning straight to the Championship, much like Luton Town, who were underdogs in the Premier League and intended to make a huge splash after their own incredible promotion feats. The Hatters made a heroic effort at surviving.

With a transfer for a Tottenham Hotspur outcast currently underway, even more bodies entering might be just what Ipswich needs to have a team capable of finishing above that dreaded bottom three. Ipswich vs. Spurs for a midfield player A recent story from The Telegraph claims that Oliver Skipp is a player that many are keeping an eye on this summer, and Ipswich Town is now competing with other teams to sign him.

The three recently promoted teams, Southampton and Leicester City, are also interested in the 23-year-old. However, the Tractor Boys are hoping to outbid their rivals and get the player, who is valued at £13 million according to Football Transfers, in order to expand their midfield options before making the move up to the top division.

Even though Skipp only made five starts in the Premier League the previous season, he would still be able to provide the Suffolk team with some much-needed exposure to the competitive division, keeping them away from midfield mainstays like Sam Morsy and Massimo Luongo who have only really experienced playing in the EFL.

What Ipswich can get from Skipp Ipswich could strike gold with this approach to the North London man, much like Omari Hutchinson did when he was on the fringes at Stamford Bridge and then burst into life while wearing a Tractor Boys uniform in the second division on loan. Chelsea then demanded a club record fee of £20 million from McKenna’s team.

Last time out, Hutchinson would score the game’s winning goal to cap off Ipswich’s incredible promotion-winning campaign. He scored early in the second half to create mayhem throughout Portman Road and increase his second-tier total to 10 goals from 44 appearances.

Skipp will aim to be the next hero who turns around his stuttering career when joining McKenna’s camp, but he might well have to win over some hardened sections of the fanbase first off the bat, owing to his past Norwich City loyalties.

Looking at the table above, it is evident that Skipp was a standout player for the Canaries during their own promotion exploits under Daniel Farke during the 2020–21 campaign, winning an astounding 5.7 duels per match. Living up to his reputation as a “very intelligent” football player—a description given to him by one of his previous Academy instructors, Saul Isaksson-Hurst, when he was still a young player at Spurs—he would be rewarded with a spot in the Championship Team of the Season as a result.
