The basketball team of Team USA, led by Anthony Edwards, has not yet participated in an official 2024 Paris Olympics competition. When Team USA takes vs Serbia on Peacock this Sunday at 10:15 am CST, we will have our first opportunity to witness Ant in action. Edwards and his colleagues now have plenty of time to play around before the competition gets competitive.
Surprisingly, Steph Curry, the star player for the Golden State Warriors who has previously been injured and uninterested, is also making his Olympic debut. But Curry is joining the team this time around because his career, at thirty-six, is drawing to an end. He will go on to become a Hall of Famer.
We’re glad he is because he’s already providing entertainment by talking some trash to Kermit Wilts Anthony Edwards. Except this time, it has nothing to do with their ability to play ball. Instead, Curry was trying to diss Edwards’ ability to play ping pong. But Ant, one of the most confident athletes we’ve ever seen, wasn’t having it.

It doesn’t matter if it’s basketball, water polo, or ping pong. Edwards believes he is capable of competing against the world’s best athletes. I don’t know about you, but we would watch to witness the star player for the Minnesota Timberwolves attempt ping pong. But would he win a point? Though he disagrees, that is debatable.
