Carlos Alcaraz, the rising Spanish tennis sensation, showcases his youthful charisma on the red carpet at the 25th Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid.

BREAKING: Carlos Alcaraz officially makes the 4 men record book after 25years” making him the hottest young sensension” here are his records….

At the age of 21, Carlos Alcaraz proudly held four Major trophies after winning back-to-back victories at Roland Garros and Wimbledon! It’s never easy to win a Major title, and the difficulty rises when one tries to win two noteworthy trophies in one season.

Since Rod Laver began playing in the Open era in 1969, just sixteen players have accomplished that feat. There are only four players who have accomplished it since Andre Agassi in 1999, yet the list features the most well-known names in men’s tennis. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic are all on the list as predicted; Alcaraz joined them after completing a “Channel Slam,” marking yet another amazing accomplishment.

Following in the footsteps of the most outstanding athletes our sport has ever seen, the young Spaniard is now just the fourth player in the last 25 years to win two Major titles in a single season. After losing to Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinal of the Australian Open, Carlos won in Paris and London.

The teenage Spaniard lost both games in sets three and four of last year’s Roland Garros match against Novak Djokovic due to severe body cramps.

Alcaraz raised his level and conquered his first Roland Garros this June, becoming the youngest winner in Paris since Rafael Nadal in 2008. Carlos booked a place in his second consecutive Roland Garros semi-final and faced Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev en route to the trophy.

The 21-year-old trailed two sets to one in both duels, overcoming the deficit and lifting the trophy. As was expected when the draw came out, Alcaraz battled against the newly-crowned world no. 1 Jannik Sinner in the semi-final.

The Spaniard prevailed 2-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 after a massive battle, sealing the deal in four hours and nine minutes and remaining on the title course. It was a grueling duel, and both players struggled physically.

Carlos Alcaraz claimed two Major titles this year.

Eager to avoid last year’s scenario, Alcaraz left the issues behind and stood strong in sets four and five, emerging at the top and delivering Sinner’s first defeat at Majors in 2024.

Carlos raised his level behind the initial shot in the closing stages of the third set, producing 11 comfortable holds and keeping the pressure on the other side. Each player scored six breaks, and Alcaraz made a difference with two return games on his tally in the final two sets.

The young gun faced world no. 4 Alexander Zverev in the title clash and dropped sets two and three, standing close to a runner-up prize. Like in the semi-final, the Spaniard shifted into a higher gear and left the German behind in sets four and five, reducing him to three games and sailing over the top.

Zverev took charge in the second set and overcame a 5-2 deficit in the third, rattling off five games in each and moving closer to his first Major crown at 27.

However, Carlos presented his incredible mental strength, making a fresh start in the fourth set and getting over the top in style.

Zverev dropped 45% of the points in his games and suffered nine breaks from 16 chances offered to Alcaraz. The young gun lost serve six times, mostly in sets two and three when his level dropped. He overcame the issues and secured his third different Major title.

Carlos gained a boost ahead of Wimbledon, pursuing the title defense and a ‘Channel Slam.’ Alcaraz suffered an early exit at Queen’s and faced problems at Wimbledon, especially against Frances Tiafoe. The Spaniard prevailed in a five-setter and entered the last 16.

Carlos took down three rivals in four sets, ousting Daniil Medvedev in the semi-final and moving into his second Wimbledon final in a row.

Like a year ago, Alcaraz battled against the seven-time champion Novak Djokovic and scored a thrilling 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 victory in two hours and 27 minutes, becoming a four-time Major winner at 21 years and two months.

Thus, Carlos joined Federer, Nadal and Djokovic on the list of players with two Major crowns in a season. Alcaraz toppled Djokovic in every element, especially in the opening two sets. The youngster served bombs and lost serve once from only three chances presented to the veteran.

Djokovic could not respond, losing 42% of the points in his games and suffering five breaks from 14 chances he played against. Carlos attacked and tamed his strokes nicely, overrunning Novak and preventing him from taking charge in the rallies.

Djokovic rushed to the net over 50 times, and Alcaraz reduced the rival’s efficiency with picture-perfect passing shots.

The Spaniard seized the fifth break chance in the first game of the match and settled into a fine rhythm.

Carlos grabbed another break in game five for 4-1 and saved a break point in the next one with a service winner. Alcaraz wrapped up the opener with a hold in game eight, gathering a boost and keeping everything under control in set number two.

The Spaniard clinched two breaks and served well, forging a 6-2, 6-2 lead in an hour and 15 minutes! Novak saved four break points early in the third set and gathered momentum, at least in his games. Carlos saved a break point in game six and grabbed a break at 4-4 with winners, serving for the title at 5-4.

Alcaraz created three match points and wasted them, with Djokovic securing his only break and locking the result at 5-5 for more drama. Carlos claimed a thrilling point at 3-3 in the tie break and clinched a mini-break in the next one for 5-3.

The youngster earned two match points with a winner and converted the first with a powerful serve, celebrating his fourth Major title and the second in a row.
