Most funny story: the flight attendant yelled. “Don’t hit me!” Terrell Davis released the full Part of the Gist” as he was manhandled tirelessly…

Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis claimed that on Saturday, he was taken off a plane and detained after a flight attendant made up a fake complaint. With the Denver Broncos, Davis ran for 2,000 yards and won two Super Bowls.

He shared his version of events on Instagram on Monday in a message. With his wife and three kids, 51-year-old Davis claimed he was on a United Airlines trip on Saturday from Denver to Orange County, California, when one of his boys requested a flight attendant for a cup of ice.

“The flight attendant either didn’t hear or ignored his request and continued past our row,” stated Davis. “To grab his attention, I gently tapped his arm and reached behind me to request a cup of ice for my son once more. We should all be astounded by his response and the subsequent developments.

” In response, the flight attendant yelled, “Don’t hit me!” according to Davis.

“I was confused, as were the passengers in front of me who witnessed the exchange,” he went on. “I thought nothing of it other than this particular employee was incredibly rude and blatantly wrong in his accusations of me hitting him.” Although Davis claimed he didn’t speak with the flight attendant again, the pilot urged everyone to stay seated when the plane landed.

According to Davis, six FBI agents and local law enforcement officers boarded the aircraft, put him in handcuffs in front of his family, and took him off the flight. “I was — and remain — humiliated, embarrassed, powerless, and angry,” wrote Davis. Davis claimed the flight attendant was found to be “inaccurate” by law enforcement after they had explained the circumstances, and the authorities had then apologized to him and released him.

The Denver Post was informed on Monday by United Airlines representatives that the flight attendant who was involved in the incident has been relieved of duty as “we closely review this matter.” “This is clearly not the kind of travel experience we strive to provide, and we have reached out to Mr. Davis’s team to apologize,” the carrier said in a statement.

FBI Los Angeles Field Office spokesperson Laura Eimiller confirmed FBI agents and law enforcement were dispatched to Orange County’s John Wayne Airport on Saturday in response to an incident aboard a flight “that required further investigation.

” Eimiller’s email to The Denver Post was validated. What transpired aboard the flight, according to Davis’s attorneys, was “appalling and disturbing to say the least,” the newspaper reported.

“We are actively contacting United Airlines regarding this matter and we intend to thoroughly investigate the events that transpired,” stated Parker Stinar, managing partner of the Chicago law firm Stinar Gould Grieco & Hensley, in a statement on Monday.

The Broncos, who selected Davis in the sixth round of the 1995 draft, were his team from 1995 to 2001. During his MVP season in 1998, he ran for 2,008 yards and 21 touchdowns, for a total of 7,607 yards and 60 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017 and assisted Denver in winning Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII.
