“BOMB!! Rio Ferdinand have finally revealed his total different point of view concerning Arsenal bid for Snake bite skills set Winger…

There have been plenty of standout players at Euro 2024 so far but Rio Ferdinand believes an Arsenal target stands above the rest.

Mikel Arteta, who is expected to have another busy transfer window at Arsenal, will definitely be watching the German competition closely this summer.

The Euro 2024 tournament hasn’t let down yet, and the round of 16 will be decided over the course of the next few days. Spain is one of the teams that has performed well in the group stages, leading Group B with three victories out of three. Naturally, Arteta will be keeping tabs on his nation’s success, but Arsenal is also keeping an eye on a few players from Spain.

Ferdinand lauds Arsenal target as Euro 2024’s best player so far

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Atheltic’s Nico Williams in recent days.

The 21-year-old hasn’t scored a goal for Spain at the Euros, but he has drawn attention with his flashy left-hand side play. Ferdinand believes the winger has been the best player of the group stages: “The pace is electric. The pace is electric. I love him. I think he is the player of the round,” the Manchester United legend told FIVE. On Monday, it was reported that the Gunners are prepared to fulfill Williams’ £49 million release clause this summer.

Arsenal face competition for Williams

In what has become a familiar foe in the transfer market for Arsenal, Chelsea are also keen on snapping up Williams this summer.

The Blues are reportedly ready to meet his release clause but Williams’ wage demands could cause problems for both London clubs.

Williams would reportedly become one of Arsenal’s top paid players if he successfully transferred to the Emirates Stadium, which would probably upset important players at the team. Having said that, Arsenal lacks true competition for players such as Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, and they are in desperate need of more wide alternatives. Williams is a versatile player who can play on either flank. Arteta’s demands of his wingers would benefit from his direct style of play.
