Breaking news: Edson Alvarez has finally made his decision concerning MAN UTD link. Wan-bissaka Galatasaray see more.
In a merciless manner, the Red Devils hope to raise money and restock their roster during the first transfer window in which part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be making decisions. Nearly every member of United’s roster, including players like Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, is open to bids. Even while it seems doubtful that they would leave, particularly now that Erik ten Hag has been given permission to stay in charge, a handful of periphery players are still very much in danger of being cut. Ratcliffe and the other United executives hope to utilize the sales proceeds to acquire new players, with a particular focus on the midfield, which has led to connections with Edson Alvarez of West Ham.
Alvarez responds to United links
West Ham midfielder Edson Alvarez has broken his silence after being linked with a move to Manchester United. The Mexico international worked with Erik ten Hag at Ajax, winning the Eredivisie title twice in their three seasons together before Ten Hag moved to United in 2022.
Alvarez, 26, is currently preparing for the Copa America and when asked about links with a move to Old Trafford, he replied: “I can only tell you that I’m focused on what I have to do.
“I know that the Copa America is a very important tournament where the eyes of the world are basically here. Later there will be time to see what there is or what there isn’t.”
Galatasaray advance in Wan-Bissaka pursuit.
Significant progress has been made in the possible sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka by Manchester United to Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray. Gala officials intend to extend the 26-year-old right-back’s contract at Old Trafford by four years, as reported by beIN Sports.
Wan-Bissaka’s choice would then determine the course of action. However, Galatasaray does have other options, such Nordi Mukiele of Paris Saint-Germain and Lorenz Assignon, defender for Burnley.
