We can’t play without him” kalen DeBoer humbly adimit after seeing his real talent….

Following spring practice, Alabama football’s running back room is regarded as one of its roster’s strengths.

This group’s star players, Jam Miller and Justice Haynes, will have a chance to establish themselves in the following season. Is there going to be a third running back in the mix? Given the progress Richard Young seems to be making and the unrealized potential of rookies Daniel Hill and Kevin Riley, it seems feasible.

Summary: After rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, Miller won the MVP Award on A-Day.
The Crimson Tide’s most seasoned rushing back is the Texas native, who has demonstrated in the past that he is a strong and explosive runner who can pose a threat coming out of the backfield. In addition to 73 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown, he finished his sophomore campaign with 201 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Miller will have a chance to be the lead horse out of the backfield for Alabama, but Haynes will not be far behind.

Haynes was evaluated as one of the most complete backs in the country coming out of Buford High School. He only carried the football three times last Saturday, but the hype remains for the talented sophomore. The Georgia product rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman. His most meaningful playing time came against Michigan in the Rose Bowl when he rushed for 22 yards on four carries

In his A-Day press conference, Kalen DeBoer praised the Tide’s running back running back room.

According to DeBoer, “I thought they did a better job when they saw a hole today, they hit it.” Particularly at the beginning, there were some gaps and they weren’t dancing, which indicates that they were growing more at ease with the plans and confident in the offensive line. A few more tackles were broken, so it works both ways, right? There are more tackles broken early in the scrimmage than what I’ve witnessed, so you should watch those that the defense makes. Up until the first few plays of today’s scrimmage, we’ve been fairly confident in our tackling. After that, they improved their response and work.

Richard Young flashed potential to possibly work himself into the Tide’s rotation when he rushed for 29 yards and one touchdown.

Hill was the only freshman back to participate in spring practice with Alabama. Kevin Riley, a four-star running back, will enroll this summer.
